Modify an existing model or develop a custom tiny-home concept around your brief.
We can provide design support for clients who require project-specific documentation.
Where required, we can assist with the documentation and coordination needed for the relevant approval pathway. NCC/building-certification services apply to fixed-site or permanent-building projects where applicable, not to the current THOW range.
We plan transport and delivery requirements before your home leaves the manufacturing facility.
Where a completely new trailer design is required, the factory can assess and manufacture a bespoke model.
Our relationship continues after your home has been delivered.
A factory model is only the starting point. Where building approval is required, the design and specification need to be reviewed and adapted for the Australian site and approval pathway.
Review of the proposed building pathway and coordination of design changes needed to address applicable NCC requirements.
Coordination of structural review, engineering inputs and changes required for the selected site, installation method and Australian project documentation.
For NSW residential projects where BASIX applies, we can coordinate the information and design commitments required for the BASIX assessment and certificate process.
Where the selected compliance pathway uses a NatHERS assessment, we can coordinate the design information needed by an accredited assessor and incorporate required changes into the project specification.
We communicate the approved Australian design requirements back to the supplier and monitor the production specification so the factory is not simply building an unmodified overseas version.
Coordination with the client's planner, engineer, energy assessor and certifier so the final manufactured configuration aligns with the project documentation.
These services are used when a project requires a building-compliance pathway. Current Tiny Homes on Wheels are not automatically Class 1a buildings and are not supplied with blanket NCC approval. Requirements are determined for the particular project, site and intended use.
For Tiny Homes and Pods installed on permanent footings, Epic Tiny Homes can coordinate the design and approval work required for the project.
Approval is not guaranteed and remains subject to the site, intended use, authority requirements and certified documentation.
The manufacturing factory has been in business for more than 15 years.
The manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty on the galvanized-steel structure of both the house and trailer.
The remainder of the manufacturer-supplied house and trailer components are covered for 12 months, subject to the warranty terms and exclusions.
For approved manufacturer warranty claims, the factory supplies replacement materials without charge, excluding fair wear and tear.
The appointed contractor remains responsible for workmanship, installation and the other obligations within their contracted scope.
The signed contract and warranty pack confirm claim procedures, exclusions and responsibility for freight, labour, removal, reinstallation, appliances and third-party items. Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition to any written warranty.
Our team remains available to help with product questions, warranty matters, maintenance guidance and replacement parts where required. The goal is simple: help you enjoy your tiny home for years to come.
